Helping you find healing and compassion

Life can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone.

I am Erica Kittleson LISW-S, PMH-C

I have been a licensed social worker since 2008 and have worked as an outpatient therapist in private practice since 2016. I have experience working in mental health and SUD crisis work, community mental health, and trauma focused therapy.

I provide individual therapy using a combination of CBT informed practices, mainly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB).

I have a Perinatal Mental Health Certification through Postpartum Support International and enjoy working with parents throughout their perinatal and parenting journey.

As a social worker, I am committed to advocacy work and am a member of the Legislative Advocacy Committee through NASW-OH. I have also been a member of the Decriminalization Taskforce. I want to advocate for changes that will protect people throughout the state of Ohio and strengthen our access to healthcare.

In addition to my professional work, I am a mom of two teenagers, one dog, and 4 cats. These experiences influence the way I show up in the therapy room. If you are looking for a neutral/blank slate therapist, I am probably not for you. I will bring my most authentic self into the therapy room in hopes that we can help you find your most authentic self.
